WWU 2016
#2
From March 25th til March 27th, there was the (mostly inner-german) "Winter Wrap Up" (WWU) meetup in Wildflecken, Germany, with about 200 visitors.

Another PlushieCon was held there, we had the chance to test run our newly developed software systems under real working conditions (turned out there's a bit of work left to do on the systems), and we gathered a total of 151 plushies, 150 of which where ponies or MLP characters in general. This is the same number we had last year at the WWU - and, maybe a bit surprisingly, also the same number of private owned plushies we had at GalaCon in Ludwigsburg (Germany) in August 2015! Well, statistics say there were a total of 165 plushies at the GalaCon 2015 PlushieCon, but amongst them were 15 Canni Soda plushies which were at this time still property of GalaCon, so altogether, we had the same number of MLP plushies now at the WWU with just 200 visitors as we had at GalaCon with about 1.200 visitors! Maybe we can top this at this year's GalaCon...? Rainbowdashwink Or even at Brony Fair, Berlin, in just a few days...? Dealwithit

One has to say we didn't have all plushies that were present during the meetup / convention, neither at the WWU meetups so far nor at GalaCon, yet it's interesting to see one could get the same number of plushies out of a much smaller numbers of visitors (and thus, potential plushie owners) than the large convention... so get it going, GalaCon Rainbowdashwink

Maybe you'll like the pictures above, taken by PlushieCon team member Crash Override.

If you look for "exotic" plushies such als LyraBon or AppleDash: well, I'm afraid I have to disappoint you, there were "only" regular plushies. But it's a nice multi-colored plushie meetup anyways, I think Twilightsmile
